Transparency and Gender Pay Equality Report

In compliance with Law No. 14,611/2023, regulated by Decree No. 11,795/2023 and Ordinance No. 3,714/2023, JBS makes available on this page the Transparency and Gender Pay Equality Reports, prepared and published by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). These reports are based on data extracted from eSocial, corresponding to the first half of 2025.

JBS reaffirms its commitment to transparency, legal compliance, and the appreciation of people, principles that guide its global operations. However, for the proper interpretation of the data and the effective fulfillment of the purpose of promoting equal opportunities, it is essential to observe the technical and methodological aspects that underpin the preparation of the reports.

The company clarifies that the methodology adopted by the MTE for the preparation of these reports does not accurately reflect the internal organizational structure of positions and functions within JBS, which may lead to inaccurate interpretations of salary results.

This occurs because different functions, with varying hierarchical levels, responsibilities, and qualification requirements, are grouped into only five broad categories under the CBO (Brazilian Classification of Occupations). This grouping compromises comparability between functions and salaries — an essential parameter for assessing pay equality, as provided for in Article 461 of the Brazilian Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), which guarantees equal pay for work of identical function, performed with the same productivity and technical proficiency.

Additionally, JBS highlights that salary composition may be influenced by other factors, such as length of service, time in position, merit and performance policies, variable compensation, and regional differences.

Based on its internal assessment, conducted according to the criterion of identical function, JBS has found no significant pay disparities between employees of different genders, except for those justified by objective factors, such as tenure and levels of productivity.
